The lightweight and patented ergonomic design can be operated by one person with one hand. Collected data is transmitted wirelessly and processed in real time, giving immediate feedback on rock structures during scanning. Smoke: Smoke Productivity The versatility of the SSP allows its use in confined spaces but also in large tunnels. The movement of the sensor when in use is similar to the movement of a paint roller and has independent suspension, which allows the user maximum contact with the surface. The user can quickly and accurately detect structures within the rock mass. The system provides depth of penetration and high resolution by scanning in the 300 MHz to 1 GHz bandwidth. Real-time data analysis Data is transmitted from the radar sensor to the tablet in real time and can be analysed directly after a scan is completed. Underground, the radar sensor communicates with the tablet via Wi-Fi, eliminating the tripping hazard of cables. Users can make decisions on the fly to optimise support and security. Intuitive software The Sub Surface Profiler software runs as a standalone application. It provides a simple interface where the data is displayed in two-dimensional (2D) and provides the necessary filters for the user to identify and magnify features.
